TIPS ON PHOTOGRAPHING CHILDREN

 

There is no doubt we will capture some fantastic shots of your child. Other opportunities for great photographs may come at moments when we are not there. When putting together your Life Chapter Baby Photo Books we can also include your own images! Here are some photography tips when photographing your child and baby:

 

• The best time of day for photographing babies and children is possibly morning, as this seems to be when they are the happiest & ready to play.
  
  
• Make sure they are rested and happily fed. Have some snacks on you just in case.
  
  
• Casual dress is the best option for portraits with a natural look.
  
  
• Pay attention to the light source. Try to avoid having the sunlight in people's eye or taking the picture against the sun.
  
  
• Have your camera always on you and set to one of the automated modes, allowing you to quickly take a snap without fiddling too much.
  
  
• Try photographing children in their best element like riding their own bike or doing some activity they enjoy. Get them involved by asking them to show you what they are doing.
